Accessibility Statement

Cadence is built for people whose brains work differently. Accessibility isn’t a feature we bolt on — it’s the whole point. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA standard and the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EU Directive 2019/882).

1. What we do to support access

Calm motion — a setting to reduce or remove animation for motion sensitivity and focus.
Adjustable text size — scale the type up for comfortable reading.
Quiet mode — strip the interface back to reduce visual overwhelm.
Soundscapes — optional brown/pink/white noise to support focus.
Focus blocks — adjustable timers paced for an ADHD attention span.
Clear language, high-contrast text, keyboard-operable controls, and respect for your system “reduce motion” preference.

2. Where we’re still improving

Accessibility is ongoing work. Some areas may not yet fully meet our target — particularly newer features and complex interactive components. We test with keyboard navigation and screen-reader basics and are continuing to widen that coverage.

If any part of Cadence is hard to use with assistive technology, or if you need something in a different format, please tell us at support@cadenceadhd.com. We treat accessibility reports as priority bugs and will work with you on an alternative in the meantime.
